How much does a remodel cost?

Every project is different, but we provide free, written proposals that are Guaranteed to the Penny — meaning if our price is off based on the proposed plans and specs, we pay the difference. That way you know exactly what your kitchen, bathroom, basement, or addition will cost before construction begins.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Initial consultations and written proposals are complimentary. We'll walk your space, talk through your goals, and put together a detailed, itemized proposal so you can make an informed decision.

How long does a remodel take?

Timelines depend on scope. A bathroom remodel typically runs 3–5 weeks, kitchens 6–10 weeks, basement finishes 6–12 weeks, and additions or whole-home projects several months. Every proposal includes a Guaranteed Completion Date — if we don't finish on time, our price is reduced per business day.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Elias Construction is fully licensed in the state of Minnesota, fully insured, and EPA Lead-Safe Certified for work on homes built before 1978.

What kind of warranty do you offer?

We back our craftsmanship with a Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Minnesota law requires one year — we go far beyond the industry standard because we stand behind the work our team produces.

Do you build your own cabinetry?

Yes. We operate our own custom cabinet shop, Elias Custom Cabinetry, right here in Byron, MN. Every cabinet is built specifically for your home, your storage needs, and your style — no big-box templates.

Do I have to move out during my remodel?

Usually no. For most kitchen, bathroom, and basement projects we set up temporary containment, keep dust down, and work in phases so you can continue living in your home. For larger additions or whole-home renovations, we'll talk through the best plan for your family.
